Users can select which events to monitor and build state-based automations around object position or stability, making it ideal for security, asset protection, and flexible smart home scenarios.

Aqara Multi-State Sensor P100 Automations:

• Balcony door energy saving

WHEN P100 detects the door has been open for 10 minutes; IF AC is ON & IF No one is in the room, THEN Turn off AC

When the balcony door stays open for a long time, the AC turns off automatically to avoid energy waste.

• Bedroom window open in the rain

WHEN P100 detects bedroom window opened; IF Weather = raining, THEN send push notification and play “Please close the bedroom window, its raining” on Hub

When the bedroom window is opened while its raining, you get and instant alert to prevent rain from soaking the room.

• Laptop lid controls desk scene

WHEN P100 on laptop detects orientation changes from closed (horizontal face-down) to open; IF Time is between 18:00-23:00, THEN Turn on desk lamp

At night, opening the laptop lid automatically turns on the desk lamp.
