The Camera G100 Select is an all-weather camera for indoor and outdoor use. Its 2K resolution and f/1.8 aperture ensure crisp, detailed images, its spotlight and invisible infrared night modes ensure clear imaging in all lighting conditions. It offers flexible storage options, including 24/7 local recording via microSD card (not included), NAS backup, and optional cloud storage, with privacy and data protection in mind. Equipped with AI features such as motion and human detection, as well as custom ringtones for automation, it further protects your home. Compatible with all major ecosystems, including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant (via RTSP connection), it is a powerful smart camera.

• 24/7 Local and E2E-Encrypted Cloud Storage②: Camera G100 Select supports 24/7 local recording to microSD cards (up to 512GB, sold separately) and backup to local NAS servers③. Time-lapse capture④ compresses a day’s events into 15 seconds, compresses hours of footage into a short, shareable video, perfect for quickly reviewing an entire day at a glance. With the optional HomeGuardian cloud solution, recordings are end-to-end encrypted and key events triggered by connected sensors are automatically captured and marked, making it easy to find important moments in the video timeline while protecting your data.

• Local and Cloud AI Detection: This camera is equipped with basic local AI detections, which will help you to only receive notification when a human is detected (motion and person detection). For advanced Cloud AI detection⑤, capable of accurately recognising faces, vehicles, pets, and packages (requires a HomeGuardian plan subscription), which puts the camera on par with higher-end cameras. 
• 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 with WPA3 Support: The camera is equipped with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, which has wide coverage, better compatibility and anti-interference ability. It also supports the WPA3 standard to provide stronger security for your network.

① To use the device with HomeKit Secure Video, an iCloud plan, and an Apple Home hub are required. The resolution of Camera G100 Select in Aqara Home is limited to 1296P, and the maximum resolution in Apple Home is 1080P, when both Apple Home and Aqara Home are connected, the maximum resolution of Camera G100 Select in Aqara Home will also be downgraded from 1296P to 1080P. It can be restored when HomeKit is disconnected.

The elderly at home do not need to struggle to find a switch or turn on the light manually when they get up to go to the bathroom at night. The soft and adjustable light helps them better avoid obstacles at night, and the light is turned on only when needed to ensure energy saving.

This advanced automation ensures that only real threats trigger a loud alarm. When the camera detects an unfamiliar face and the door or window sensor is triggered at the same time, Aqara’s Hub M2 immediately sounds the 85dB siren. This dual-verification mechanism minimises false alarms while maximising protection—making it highly effective against break-ins.
